Rush Limbaugh burst onto the national radio scene in August of 1988 with the Excellence in Broadcasting Network. In just one year, the network grew from 56 stations to over 140 - making it the most listened-to talk show in America.
In a few years, EIB had reached total national saturation with over 600 stations! But Rush was never just a radio performer.
