Our Most Frequently Asked Questions

This page contains the answers to your most frequently asked questions:
Q. How do I get in touch with Rush?
A. Go to the "About the Show" page for complete information on calling, emailing, or writing Rush.
Q. How do I get streaming audio of the live radio show?
A. Most reasonably current computers are equipped to receive streaming audio as they are shipped from the manufacturer. There are two common formats of streaming audio; Windows Media Player, and Real Audio. Both are available for Windows and Macintosh.

To listen to the live show broadcast, all you need do is click on the "Listen Live" tab at the top left of the page (under "About the Show" tab). If your computer has the player properly installed, it will automatically launch and start the show. If it fails, or gives an error message, try the other button. If neither work, you may not have a player installed in your computer. Click the troubleshooting link for further assistance.
Q. Why do I get an error message when I try to listen to the live radio show?
A. If you have a properly installed player, the most likely reason is that you are trying to listen outside the live broadcast hours of Noon to 3PM Eastern time on weekdays. If you press these buttons at any other time, you will get an error message. If you are getting this error message during the live show hours of Noon to 3PM Eastern time, contact Tech Support with your technical questions. You will receive help from an audio engineer.
Q. What about listening to Audio Clips?
A. Listening to audio clips is just like listening to the live show, with two exceptions:

1. You click on the text link, instead of the buttons at the top of the page.
2. Audio clips are only available in Windows Media Format, not for Real Audio.
Q. How can Macintosh owners listen to Audio Clips if you only support Windows Media Player?
A. While Windows Media Player is the only supported player for audio clips, there is a free Macintosh version available. Just follow this link and download it, then install it in your computer.
Q. How can I tell if my computer will work with your website?
A. We've created a complete web page on compatibility. It lets you check whether your computer is completely compatible with Rush's website.
